Allied Secret: The Sinking of the HMT Rohna

On November 26, 1943 a Luftwaffe Heinkel attacked the British troopship HMT Rohna. Along with British and Australian servicemen, over 1,000 American soldiers died in a disaster that was kept a secret. The reason: the ship had been sunk by a new weapon - the guided bomb. This account of the tragedy draws on the experiences of the survivors and Allied and German documents, and features an interview with the Luftwaffe pilot who fired the rocket.
